Cooking, Teaching, What More Could a Girl Ask For?

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Andrea Stringer and I am so excited to finally be in the education faculty! I am from a small town in BC called Fairmont Hot Springs famous for ski hills, lakes, golfing and of course the natural hot springs. After high school, I left my small town for the "Big City" and moved to Calgary to pursue one of my passions in life, cooking! I graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with a diploma in Professional Cooking and my Red Seal certification. Shortly after I traveled through Spain and Germany before heading back to Southern Alberta to Lethbridge in hopes of achieving my second goal, getting into the University of Lethbridge's renown faculty of education. And here I am! Teaching has always been my passion and becoming one of those amazing teachers who had an effect on my as a student is the fuel for that passion, (of course while mixing in my "foodie" qualities as well!) I am so excited to finally be achieving my goals for myself and my future!

P.S. What is a "foodie" you might ask? see my cook book and cooking utensil collection for further explanation!
